Dr. Maychelle Cooper Rodney Biography

Dr. Maychelle Cooper Rodney is a God-fearing woman, a loving wife and a proud
mother of two daughters – ER Dr. Kelsey, Future Dr. Kirsten, and a 14-year old son
Noah. She is an Author, Founder of Noah’s Ark NICU Non-profit Foundation which
was created to assist families of premature babies and named after her son Noah
who was born 1 Ib. She is also a 34-year Corporate Operations
Excellence/Industrial Engineering Manager for UPS, as well as the CEO of Black
Butterfly Queen, LLC where she is a Life, Relationship, and Business Leadership
Coach.

Dr. Maychelle attended Xavier University of LA for pre-engineering, received her
Masters Degrees from Northwood University of Michigan, and her Doctorate in
Executive Leadership from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans.

As the 2020 Queen of Femme Fatale Mardi Gras Krewe, Dr. Maychelle continues to
be actively involved in her community and works tirelessly to promote and
empower others. She believes that everyone is uniquely created and has the ability
to be whatever they aspire to be in life; which is why she wrote her book – Dear
Black Butterfly, You Are A Queen. Magnetized by all of the amazing people that she
met during her journey as queen, she wrote her book to remind children and adults
that they are smart, important, capable, intelligent, worthy, and strong. She also
reminds them that they should never give up on their dreams.

As a 34-year Business Executive who has held managerial positions in Business
Development, Sales/Marketing, Operations, and Industrial Engineering, Dr.
Maychelle understands the importance of providing service excellence to customers
while operating efficiently and productively. She says, “It is not often that you can
go into a business and receive optimal customer service, so when you find a
business that exudes professionalism and great service, support them
wholeheartedly – even if you only share their business by word of mouth or via
social media”.
